The Titan III has a 600 bushel capacity, and when set up on a 80-foot drill and a 300-plus bushel seed cart, requires only one fill per quarter section or about every three and half hours.
The fertilizer caddy, introduced this year at the Farm Progress Show, can also be towed in tandem for increased capacity.
Cory Beaujot, marketing manager for SeedMaster, says the Titan III isn’t pressurized, conserving hydraulic output -- a major plus when you’re running an 80-foot drill.
Instead, he said, the caddy uses an augering system and six-inch fan with individual row metering for improved accuracy.
The Titan III has an easy-unload cone bottom, meaning it can double as a grain cart come harvest.
