Winnipeg manufacturer Versatile has introduced a new high-capacity front-end loader. The new Versatile-brand 3995E loader, which is available for the company’s MFWD tractor models, and a universal-fit Buhler version, the 2995E, are making their farm show debut at the Versatile display.

The self-levelling Versatile/Buhler loader has a higher capacity than the older 2898, which had been the heaviest loader in the company’s lineup.

With a maximum lift capacity of 7,050 lbs. (3,197 kg) and a breakout force of 8,850 lbs. (4,022 kg) at the pivot pin, these loaders, the heaviest yet offered by Versatile, are designed for tractors in the 200- to 300-horsepower range.

The company says it has seen a growing demand for high-horsepower front-end loaders, which increase the range of functions for larger tractors.

“A lot of these tractors are doing double duty,” says Adam Reid, Versatile’s advertising manager.

Along with the up-rated capacity, Versatile has improved the styling on these new loaders. And they come with standard Hydra Fast hydraulic hookup, cushion ride and a Euro quick-attach system.
